Can I use XRP as collateral?

Yes, for a crypto loan. XRP is accepted as pledged collateral on Milo’s crypto loan at a 2.5:1 ratio, which is a 40% maximum loan-to-value. You pledge 2.5 times the loan amount in XRP, so a $100,000 loan needs $250,000 in XRP. Bitcoin and Ethereum loans are 2:1, a 50% maximum LTV.

XRP is not eligible for Milo’s mortgage products. Crypto mortgages and self-custody mortgages accept Bitcoin and Ethereum only, whether as pledged collateral or as reserves.

When you deposit XRP, include the destination tag shown on your deposit screen. Without it, the deposit cannot be credited to your loan automatically.
