VA Loan

VA loans are U.S.-government-guaranteed mortgages available to qualifying veterans, active-duty service members, and certain surviving spouses. The program allows 0% down payment, has no PMI requirement, and often offers below-market rates.

VA loans do charge an upfront VA funding fee (typically 1.25%–3.3% of the loan), though first-use disabled veterans are exempt. There's no fixed loan limit for most borrowers with full entitlement, but lenders impose their own caps.

Why it matters for Milo customers

Milo does not originate VA loans. Veterans interested in using crypto for a primary home purchase typically combine a VA loan from another lender with a Milo crypto-backed loan to fund the down payment or closing costs.
